Creating Your Life

You are the author of your life.

That means you decide who you are in the world – how you show up, who you help, and what you live for.

The mistake many of us make (at least I did) is that we think we ARE what happened in the past.

If someone asks us about ourselves, we are usually always referring to things that already happened to us. We generally give a historical recap of our lives, picking and choosing what we want to leave in or take out.

“I went to college to become an English teacher, but I never graduated. I got pregnant in my senior year, so I dropped out of school, got married, had kids, and the rest is history!”

But we don’t HAVE to create our lives from our past.

What’s incredible about the gift of life is that it just keeps going and going.

If you want to, tomorrow could be completely different.

It’s about what you DO next that matters.

Start basing your life on what you want it to look like in the future.

Who do you WANT to be?

Be it!
