Your Dream Job doesn’t exist. You have to create it.
This took me YEARS to figure out.
I was so happy when I finally got what I believed to be my “dream job” a couple of years ago.
It only took about a week before I noticed that it was less than fulfilling.
I was more focused on the title than my actual experience. I was so caught up in moving UP that I didn’t even clarify what moving up really meant to me.
Once I realized the truth – that my dream job wasn’t a role I could fill – that I had to design my own perfect job around how I wanted to LIVE – then I decided to branch out on my own and build my own business.
You certainly don’t have to start a business to create your own dream job though. There are ways to have your employment transform and expand into more fulfilling avenues as well.
